Algorithms are used to generate changing light patterns. These patterns are projected on semi-transparent materials, to emphasize the spatial qualities of the patterns.

Light and spatiality

The algorithms used to generate the light patterns are very simple. However, by copying an animation, where each copy is just slightly different from the original, an interesting light image is created.

By distributing the various elements of the projection across the space, the light image takes on a very spatial quality. It can fill, divide, or emphasize the space.

The viewer is invited to experience how the light installations transform the space!
