Programma Duurzame Cultuursector
The Sustainable Cultural Sector Programme (Kunsten '92) is organising a workshop on the Climate Handprint during Dutch Design Week. Come along, ask your questions and find out how creators and organisations are contributing to broader sustainability.

About the Sustainable Cultural Sector Programme (Programma Duurzame Cultuursector)

The Sustainable Cultural Sector Programme (Programma Duurzame Cultuursector) supports efforts to make the cultural and creative sector more sustainable and strengthens the sector’s role in the wider societal transition towards sustainability. The programme, coordinated by Kunsten '92 and made possible by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, offers practical support by bringing together knowledge, tools and practical examples on duurzamecultuursector.nl: the central hub where the entire sector can find information and contribute. Additionally, the programme focuses on fostering collaboration by bringing together cultural organisations, creators, sector organisations and public authorities.

Workshop Climate Handprint

During Dutch Design Week, join us as we delve into the Climate Handprint (Klimaathandafdruk): the positive impact that creators, venues and other cultural and creative organisations can have on promoting sustainability in other sectors. In an interactive workshop, you’ll explore the value of culture in the ecological transition and discover practical ways in which your organisation or project can contribute to it.

The workshop will take place at The Social Hub on Tuesday 20 October from 16:00 to 17:00. You can register for free via www.duurzamecultuursector.nl/ddw.

Do you want to know more?

If you don’t have time for the whole workshop but do have questions about sustainability, the Climate Handprint or the programme, why not pop in during our drop-in session from 16:00 to 19:30? The team from the Sustainable Cultural Sector Programme is on hand to brainstorm with you, share experiences and help you get started.

What you’ll take away
- An understanding of what the Climate Handprint means for your work or organisation.
- Concrete examples of how other creators and organisations are putting this into practice.
- A first step towards making your own contribution to the ecological transition, through culture.
