We seem to prefer not to think about our selfs as being of an old age and we put off making a plan for our old days.
Therefor, we step into the next 20+ years after retirement without a plan. And we don't make room for 67+ people in our lives, because we don't know what to ask of them.

Reciprocal

We believe in cooperation and reciprocity. The elderly don't just need help, they have a lot to offer. Society needs. This way we can be there for each other! But that is only possible if we start thinking differently about the elderly. The aging population weighs heavily on the current aged care system. That is why it has to be different, we have to do more together. After your retirement there is still so much time, space and possibilities. What do you want to do with that? Due to many active older people in society, we may look beyond an age, but we see people with competences and qualities. Maybe then we can become less afraid of our own day and start thinking for ourselves about how we want to grow old and how we stay active in the community. Then the real becomes reciprocal. What can I do for you and can you help me with this?

So join us and ask yourself what you want to be when you grow old.
Think about what you could give and what you could ask now from the elderly around you.
Only if the 67-ers want to make room for the elderly and if the 67+ realize that we still really need them to make this society run smoothly, we can live together much more pleasantly.
