Thursday Downtown Palmela
Another mountain day! The project called Downtown Palmela was set up in 2022 by Andre Amaro and Maarten Baas, described as 13 hectares of playground in the mountains of Portugal. The area soon faced a major forest fire, which marked the beginning of an adventure. In the meantime, many volunteers have passed by, all leaving their own creation on the land. Currently, there is a growing food forest, animals, workshops and tiny houses are being created. During the Dutch Design Week, the Downtown Palmela team will come to the Stroomhuis to bring their infectious energy.
