My project explores the interaction between people and fashion, highlighting issues within the industry. By questioning fashion, architecture, and our environments, I aim to spark a dialogue about shifting our mentality and rethinking our connection to creation and consumption.
Memory, value
A picture can activate a memory, a place can be transformed by a significant event, and I believe that a garment can accrue profound sentimental value over time. These are memorable stories involving family, friends, and all the special moments in the owner’s life. I seek to challenge the prevailing notion of the adaptability of our environments through the interplay between materiality, memory, and meaning in our everyday lives.
